Good Morning!!! Spring is here and it’s getting warmer! Already in the morning +20! Lots of w.i.p. – gardening, cleaning, sewing (of course) and stitching fishes on ‘My Dream Quilt’ …
I have quilted all the fishes! I guess I should have counted them, but here they are all …
This is really my favourite quilt and I love those colours, prints and fish blocks! Now only the binding is missing but that’s because I need to find just the right colour for it. When it’s finished I shall tell you all the story for this quilt.
We have been cutting all the winter grass and it was just so much after this long and rainy winter. Spring cleaning has began and here is my new/old car …
A good wash now and then makes miracles! It took enough time to wash it and clean it inside but now I enjoy to use my ‘second office’! By the way, do you need an empty vegetable box when you wash you car ?
Nero has enjoyed so much being outside and having us company there …
I can’t help myself planning a new quilt. A while ago I got some new lovely fabrics but I can’t decide how to use them. Those colours are a little bit stronger than I expected and I thought to mix there something else.
What ‘your eye says’? I’m thinking to use at least the four from right and perhaps turquoise and green from left. There is going to be also lots of white! Should I leave reds out?
It needs something more … anyway I have time to plan this because I don’t have time to make this quilt before I’m back from Finland. Yes! Official announcement – I’m going to Finland 22.4 for two weeks! I haven’t been there for a long time and I’m so exited!
I have found the block I think I shall use for this quilt. Faith has tutorial for it. Funny thing is that in that block I need all the same pieces as in ‘My Dream Quilt’. I like that idea because these two quilts should match together.
Yesterday (tired in the evening) I made something small … almost finished but not exactly … didn’t have time for photos … Svetlana wrote a great post how we often save our ‘treasure’ fabrics and don’t use them. She has made so wonderful things with here unique fabrics! So I thought I need to use the small left overs from the fish quilt. You’ll see that next time.
I am linking in last minutes to Lee’s W.i.p. Wednesday!
Now I have to take my clean ‘office’ and run to work … I wish you wonderful day!
Thank you for your visit and all your sweet comments!
