PAINTERS and PAINTINGS
Here I like to share with you another important part of my life!
I shall add here photos of paintings occasionally and in any order they happens to come to my mind or depending the mood of the day!
All the paintings are mine or from my family members. Unfortunately the colours aren’t exactly right in photos.
I think one nice way to start this is with my grandfather’s self-portrait. Without him I wouldn’t be painting, even he never knew I shall…
My grandfather was a painter, my mother was painting, her sister is painting, my sister is painting, my dear aunt and friend is an artist….so I had to try too! In 2005 when ‘Nero’ was a puppy I jumpped into this wonderful world of colours!
It was so much fun and I loved it from the beginning! Since then sometimes I paint often and sometimes there can be a long time I don’t catch my colours…but it is always in my mind….
More paintings under the names : Yrjo Kivisalo (my grandfather), Riitta Karjalainen (my mother) and Teje Karjalainen (me).
I apologise the bad quality of the photos! I have took most of the photos just for my own ‘memories’ and then I didn’t know that I could share them here. Unfortunately most of the paintings can’t travel with me and their home is in Finland.
