Everything is so nice….the baskets, little mouse, and I really need one of those vacuum cleaners!
Thank you Deborah! Someone had a great idea! x Teje
Merry Christmas from our home to yours!
Thank you Carla! Wonderful Christmas time to you and your family! x Teje
Another great mini quilt, Teje!
Thank you Fiona! x Teje
The jar which Violetta is garding is so nice; I have little and big jars like that standing everywhere, with yarn clippings, little snippets of fabric, even leftovers of pencils and crayons. I just love the vibrancy of these jars.
Your new scissors rug is lovely. I’m always amazed by the possibilities of scraps.
Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you Dorien! Scraps are so fun! In jars and to work with – I should create more with them. Happy weekend! x Teje
What a great new scissor mat Teje. The binding is perfect and such lovely material. I am glad you are having a relaxing time. I really love that mouse and it is much better than a real one ;0) Enjoy the last few days until Christmas.
Jane x
Thank you Jane! I think we shall have relaxing Christmas – some chocolate and sweets just arrived from Finland, so no worries! Happy weekend! x Teje
I love your scissor mat. All of your projects are so cute. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Mary and Merry Christmas to you! x Teje
Love the “scissor mat” idea…. I use a very nice vertical (high sides) wooden container…..prevents damage to the points when putting the scissors in. I did ‘check out’ that ad…..oh my!!!! Advertisers have quite the imagination! Christmas Blessings to you all!!! Doreen
Thank you Doreen! Happy weekend to you and Merry Christmas! x Teje
The same to you, Sweet Friend;-)
How lucky for your scissors to have a matt. I don’t have enough counter space for that so I hang mine on my bulletin board. How lucky you are to have so much sewing time and no stress! I haven’t made a single thing for Christmas, or even started my shopping or decorating. And we just got 20 inches of snow yesterday.
Thank you Terri! I don’t have any wall space! I have put today some Christmas light on the windows and I love them, but that’s all. Hopefully I clean tomorrow and then bake those most easy ‘stars’ (I have link to them few post earlier). Enjoy your white Christmas! x Teje
Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity. I really enjoy your blog. My resolution for 2013 is to learn how to sew corners neatly and well; hope you will do a tutorial on this. At 5pm in Cape Town today the temperature in my swimming pool was 28 degrees Celsius and during the day the outside temperature rose to 35 degrees.
Thank you Gail for your lovely comment! I shall make more tutorials and you can look the tutorial I made just a short while ago for coasters. There I show how to make the binding. Also the tutorial for Christmas mini quilts has the same.
You have there now the same weather as we do in summer time. I have to say that I don’t miss that hot – I prefer spring and autumn.
Merry Christmas! x Teje
What a lovely post, Teje! I am so happy you can say it out&loud that you’re enjoying this Christmas just as it comes, with no extra fuss of “we-have-to-make-it-all-just-because” – that’s the real Holiday Spirit! Christmas is time to make whatever makes you feel happy!
Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend, and keep making these beautiful crafts of yours!
Happiness from freezing (- 22C!) Finland! Ihania pyhiä!
Mia
Thank you Mia! I’m happy to hear that because I already thought perhaps I said it too strongly. I do love Christmas and all this season, but it’s just so different here without snow and some other things make it more difficult this time.
My father said that you are going to have sunshine, but if it means -20C or even more, it’s not nice. I just bought warm boots and we have only +8C!
Ihanaa Joulun aikaa ystavani! x Teje
I love all of your projects Teje I particularly love your mouse sitting on the jar. It isn’t the same mouse as the one who nibbled my Christmas decorations in my garage I hope
Have a great weekend! Avis x
Thank you Avis! I think Violetta eats only Nelli’s dry food which is in my sewing room or then Nelli eats only half of every piece?! It’s so dark outside and Christmas lights on the windows are so beautiful! x Teje
Beautiful photographs as always! Happy Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you Dianne! Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year! x Teje
