I love your sewing set, Teje! The fabric design is so special, and I love the colours….and what a sweet set you have created!
Wishing you a wonderful week.
Helen x
Thank you so much Helen! I like very much this fun fabric – it’s good for many kind of crafts. I guess I think I should have ordered much more …
Happy week to you! x Teje
Those are so cute…..and practical at the same time! The fabric is the thing that really makes them (the binding is perfect!). Sitting here, in S.E. MN, the snow storm of yesterday is done leaving us with almost 8″ of heavy wet white stuff. Hope to post some photos today or tomorrow. Have to use DH’s pc as my replacement is not due to come til late tomorrow or Wed. Have a beautiful blessed day, Teje!! Hugs, D
Thank you so much Doreen! Wow, so much snow suddenly! Sounds very Christamassy but I guess you prefer to snuggle under a quilt. Hugs! x Teje
Snuggle..yes! And I use this as justification for my stash!!! (That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it…hehe!).
It is delightful! So fun. It is snowing like crazy here right now!
Thank you so much Carla! I can ‘see’ in my mind very white snowy scene! I miss that even I don’t like cold.
x Teje
What a lovely set Teje, the fabric is gorgeous and the binding goes so well. We have had sun here today but it is so cold again and we may well have more snow again this week. Take care and have a lovely week,
Jane x
Thank you so much Jane! We have about + 10 but with the cold wind from the sea and from the snowy mountains, it feels freezing! But if the sun shows out it warms. x Teje
As usual, you have made something completely charming and wonderful. I love this set!
Good Job!
Thank you so much Connie! Have a wonderful week! x Teje
Fun set! Such a great gift to carry all sorts of sewing supplies in. Looks fun to make too.
Thank you so much Terri! I thought this oval shape is practical for sewing things to fit longer scissors. Still I haven’t tried the round one, where you are so talented! x Teje
What a pretty set, Teje, and you got it just right! Colors are perfect, and that “sofa”-design is great, pins&needles kept together (mine are always missing!) nicely.
Have a happy Monday (and only two weeks to aatto!!)!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you so much Mia! It looks like a comfy sofa! I have given up counting the days – I just can’t believe aatto is so close! Happy week to you! x Teje
What an adorable set! Love the idea of pairing your pin cushion and needle book. Just so clever and so cute!
Thank you Jill! It’s practical to have the pins and needles together and like this they take less space, too. x Teje
Wow! That is teeny, uber cute! Jxo
Thank you so much Judith! Have a lovely week! x Teje
I’m not normally a fan of the clock fabric, but it looks fab with the rainbow binding! Good choice! Gorgeous bowl and needlebook
Thank you Emma! It’s fun how much other fabrics and the pattern can make change! x Teje
This set is just perfectly darling!
Thank you Heidi! I’m happy to hear that! Have a lovely week! x Teje
I love this set too! great idea!
Thank you so much Nichi! x Teje
I love your sewing set – the combined pin cushion and needle case is an inspired idea, you’re a genius!
Thank you so much! Hugs to Archie and have a lovely week! x Teje
What a cute set! And the striped binding is perfect!
Thank you so much Ellie! Stripes are fun for binding! x Teje
Love those little cloth baskets. The needlecase is a really neat addition. Love, love, love the fabric! As usual, so fresh and fun.
Thank you so much! Have a lovely day! x Teje
Oh, these are lovely projects, Teje! I’m glad to find your blog and I will start following you with Google Reader. My husband and I spent a month on Crete many years ago, and we loved it!
Thank you Elnora! I’m happy to hear you like my blog and that you have been in Crete! x Teje
What an adorable and practical set! I’d be smiling with each use.
Thank you Deb! x Teje
Such cute projects!!!
Thank you Megan! x Teje
Love the clock fabric! You did a wonderful job of using it in such a nice way.
Thank you so much Sage! I think it’s really great, too! x Teje
I love the little needle book. I will have to try to make one. The stipey binding looks great.
Thank you Val! Make one, it’s fun and practical! x Teje
My favorite part is the word “six” right on the pin cushion. Clever!
Thank you Rachel! I love fabrics with text! This one has very big letter so there was space only for ‘six’. x Teje
What a beautiful little basket and needle case, your work is always wonderful and that fabric is so neat! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Connie! x Teje
Lovely basket. I have that numbers fabric, I thought to use it or a quilt back, but the line baskets is a good idea
Thank you Benta! My hb brought this fabric and I expected smaller letter but it would be so beautiful backing for a quilt! x Teje
So totally cute! Love the colours and love the idea for the pin cushion!
Thank you Jo! Merry Christmas to you! x Teje
What a great idea with the pin cushion and needle case, I like it alot, so I had to pin it.
Thank you Mara! Merry Christmas! x Teje
Hi there
What a fabulous kit! I have totally fallen for your idea of needle book incorporated into a pin cushion, and plan to make one as soon as I have a minute, as my current pin cushion has a nasty habit of EATING my needles – (it’s too deep), and then having to have the pin cushion AND a needle book on my bed where I do a lot of my sewing, means that one or the other always gets lost in the bedclothes, so your idea would seem to be the perfect solution. Hope you don’t mind me copying?
Judi
Thank you so much Jude! It’s not nice to sleep with needles! I’m very happy if you like my idea so much that you like to make one, too! Before you fill the pin cushion, you could add on the bottom a piece of hard paper. I did that first but then took it off because I thought if it needs to be washed – who wash pin cushion?! Without the hard paper you feel sometimes the pins under the pin cushion because it’s so small. x Teje
Visiting from threading my way. This is fabulous
Thank you Karen! I’m happy you stopped by! x Teje
Very clever idea to combine the needlecase and pincushion, Teje!!! A great set.
Hi Teje, I’ve featured your sewing set today… Threading Your Way Features
Thank you so much Pam, you are darling! x Teje
Hej! I just discovered your blog through a post by Threading My Way– can’t wait to try your oval bowl pattern! I think it would be great for a little Easter Basket decoration. Going to look for your other fabric bowls too. I hope you are warmer in Greece than Finland! Have a bit of Raki/tsikoudia for me since I am too far away to have my own ;D. Lovely picture of your Shepard too.
Thank you so much Lizzie! I’m happy you stopped by and left so lovely comment! Your blog is wonderful! x Teje
what a beautiful set! I love the little needlebook/pin cushion and the stripy binding is perfect
Thank you Wendy! That stripy binding is my favourite and makes this ‘bowl’ really happy! x Teje
