Oh I just love your needle books so very much, especially the Moomin fabric! I just stick mine into a piece of paper that I have folded into my sewing basket. Now I am going to make a few of these, they are so beautiful and would make great stocking stuffers for my sewing friends! Thank you!
Thank you Annette! I used to have a tiny glass bottle for years. It wasn’t practical at all. I didn’t realize that I needed a needle book until I got one. Now I use it happily every day! x Teje
Beautiful work as ever Teje. Love the Moomin fabric. Reminds me of the sleep suits my friends from Finland bought Big J when he was a baby – one was from Marrimekko and the other was Moomins. Happy Memories
Thank you Patch! I’m happy I brought you lovely memories! How nice to hear that you have Finnish friends! x Teje
Hello Teje,
Who wouldn’t love Moomins, and if it’s pink = just perfection! I loved you post, it shows all beautiful things you’ve created and also the lovely views around you, oh those roses… Even it’s not that rosy around here these days
I am going to try to blog every day this December again (third year in a row!!), so quite a lot of snow/Finnish joulu-things to come – you’re so welcome to take a look and get a little glimpse of kotoisat Suomi-tunnelmat
I wish you the most wonderful start for your December!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you Mia for your sweetest words! I can’t say that I don’t like this warm weather but where is the Christmas feeling – that needs snow and cold weather and even dark days to enjoy candles and lights! I shall visit you every day – I just wish we could have a glass of glogi together! x Teje
Your work is always so beautiful! The little needle books are very sweet and the butterflies are gorgeous! We did the BBQ/grill thing this past week, also;-D Warmish today, too. Hugs, D
Thank you Doreen! I’m so happy to hear that you have enjoyed BBQ, too! x Teje
Yes, (sigh) still in denial about the change of seasons. A somewhat warm week ahead…yay!
Bbbbbbbeautiful Teje! Love the needle books and your close up photo looks very professional.
Thank you so much for your sweet words! x Teje
I love your boots needle book! I’ve been sorting through my selvedges, not sure what I’ll do with them, but this is a great idea, to use it as you would a ribbon! I wouldn’t have to use them all up on one project, this way!
Thanks for the shout out, too!!
Thank you! I still keep my selvages as treasures because I don’t have so many. They are so fun to use and I’m axious to see new ideas. In spring I made the sewing kit with selvages. x Teje
Love your Moomin needlebook. I throw my extra needles thru some paper too- might need to pretty it up a bit. As in, sew something for me.
I still struggle with giving away too many of my creations.
Thank you Kathy! That happens often but we should make beautiful things to our selves, too to enjoy our work! x Teje
Wow, lots going on these days! Love the needle books which would make great gifts for sewing friends. Great idea to put cookie cutters in a fun handmade fabric basket. I could do that with my stuff baskets. Always fun to see all the animals enjoying their lazy days.
Thank you Terri! They do make great gifts for sewers and for everyone. Even knitters need needles and everyone to sew a button now and then. Fortunately we have still one more sunny day for dogs to enjoy outside. x Teje
Beautiful makes! I’m jealous of your barbeque – we have snow today! Brrrrrr
Thank you Fiona! Storm is coming here, too – time to prepare ourselves for the winter. x Teje
Adorable projects! Love the crochet butterfly.
Thank you so much Amy! x Teje
There is only one B for this post Teje….BEAUTIFUL ! I love all your new makes. Only 22 more sleeps ;0)
Jane x
Thank you so much Jane! I think I have to give up … it’s already too close. I try to finish writing my cards and here I am leaving comments to fabric give aways – this is a special week for those! Have a lovely week! x Teje
Gosh! You have been busy sewing again
All your projects are beautiful!! I especially like the fabric baskets and the crocheted butterflies. I hope the sun keeps shining for you by the sea Teje
Avis x
Thank you Avis! Still sun today but colder wind. I have tried to be busy but still Christmas cards are all around on my sewing table … Have a lovely day my friend! x Teje
Your needle books are lovely – I really like the brightly coloured one!
Thank you Kirsten! I like also mostly the colourful with boots. x Teje
Everything you make is always so bright and beautiful, I love that little fabric basket especially. I need to try and make one for myself as they’re so cute and useful too.
I could also have some of that fish, it looks delicious.
Thank you so much Paula! Do make fabric basket – it’s easier than it may look. Fish was delicious! x Teje
