TEA COSIES!

Hello my Dear Friends! I hope you have warm hands – here it’s raining again and mine are cold! But I have very warming news – Cindy’s newsletter from ‘Fluffy Sheep Quilting’ has came out and there it is – my tutorial for a tea cosy!
Cindy sent to me beautiful fabrics to make a tea cosy and tutorial for that. I couldn’t make up my mind, what fabrics to use, so I made two tea cosies!
First I made this colourful with more blue and green fabrics and the bird which I wanted absolutely! I thought this will be mine – I love this! When my friend saw it, she said the same and I had to say by by to my bird …
As soon as I have time, I shall make new ‘Bird tea cosy’ for me! When I was cutting these fabrics I thought that perhaps many people like something more modern style and I made the second with only polka dots and beige fabrics.

Choose your style, colours, prints and fabrics and create your own tea cosy!

Now I wish you wonderful time and hopefully you have lovely weather – somehow the weather seems to be quite interesting issue – when it’s hot we miss cold, when it’s dry we miss rain and now when we have only rain, we do miss sun and dry! Is it so that ‘you get what you wish’?

Both are so lovely, although I, also, would lean towards the ‘bird’ one!!! Will check out the tute!!! Your fabric combos are so sweet and really make the project extra special. I have some friends who are partial to tea so this will be perfect!! Today, here, is very UN-November-like. It’s to be 65F and sunny!!!! I am not a cold weather/snow person so could take this year round—-really!!! Have a great day, Teje! Here it’s Thanksgiving and stores (for the most part) are closed. Turkey is the entree of choice. Stores open tomorrow (some at midnight tonight….people camping out at their doors!!!!) for Black Friday (means big $$$ so there is “black ink” not “red” in there bookkeeping!). Hugs, D

This is one event I usually bypass. My DIL has always participated and gotten great ‘deals’ on various items (mostly toys for the kids) over the years. She would head to the stores by 5 a.m. (back then, now they open so much earlier!!!). I am not a shopper at all and would rather pay a little more on non-sale days and keep my sanity….hehe! It has almost become a “sport” for some!!!! Will hear about it in the news in the coming days, I am sure!!!! Thank you for the best wishes! I hope you don’t get too soggy!!!!!!!
I understand you – we have seen that ‘sport’ in the news even here in Greece. I prefer the quiet days and hours, too. But if there is fabric or yarn with super price?! x Teje

Congrats on the publishing of your tutorial. I did get the newsletter and am thinking of what fabrics I will choose. My friend was just in London. She bought herself a cute new teapot. Guess what she is getting for Christmas?
