Both are so lovely, although I, also, would lean towards the ‘bird’ one!!! Will check out the tute!!! Your fabric combos are so sweet and really make the project extra special. I have some friends who are partial to tea so this will be perfect!! Today, here, is very UN-November-like. It’s to be 65F and sunny!!!! I am not a cold weather/snow person so could take this year round—-really!!! Have a great day, Teje! Here it’s Thanksgiving and stores (for the most part) are closed. Turkey is the entree of choice. Stores open tomorrow (some at midnight tonight….people camping out at their doors!!!!) for Black Friday (means big $$$ so there is “black ink” not “red” in there bookkeeping!). Hugs, D
Thank you Doreen and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you make tea cosies and I wish you great shoppings! x Teje
This is one event I usually bypass. My DIL has always participated and gotten great ‘deals’ on various items (mostly toys for the kids) over the years. She would head to the stores by 5 a.m. (back then, now they open so much earlier!!!). I am not a shopper at all and would rather pay a little more on non-sale days and keep my sanity….hehe! It has almost become a “sport” for some!!!! Will hear about it in the news in the coming days, I am sure!!!! Thank you for the best wishes! I hope you don’t get too soggy!!!!!!!
I understand you – we have seen that ‘sport’ in the news even here in Greece. I prefer the quiet days and hours, too. But if there is fabric or yarn with super price?! x Teje
Love your tea cozies, Teje! All that patchwork leaves me very happy. Perfect timing as I have been thinking about making a new one.
)
Thank you Katherine! I’m happy if I was able to inspire you to make one! x Teje
Congrats on the publishing of your tutorial. I did get the newsletter and am thinking of what fabrics I will choose. My friend was just in London. She bought herself a cute new teapot. Guess what she is getting for Christmas?
Oh, that is perfect idea! Thank you and I’m so happy you are making a tea cosy! Happy weekend! x Teje
Happy weekend to you Teje
Your tutorial is fantastic and I’ve now signed up for the newsletter! If I get time before Christmas, I will make one for Mum and she will love it. Thank you again for taking the time to share your tutorial with everyone
You are so kind! Avis x
Thank you Avis! I’m so happy to hear you will make one tea cosy (at least one – maybe you want for yourself too, after making the first one)! Happy weekend! x Teje
HI Teje, these are both wonderful tea cosies. Did you hand stitch the writing, it looks so good? I think my favourite is the polka dots one. I hope you are keeping those hands warm, have a lovely weekend,
Jane x
Thank you Jane! I have hand stitched the writings. I’m happy to hear that you like the polka dots! Your post about tea in Harrods is wonderful! I didn’t leave a comment because it wouldn’t be fair for me to win again one of your beautiful bag charms – he he! Happy weekend! x Teje
I love them all! But I think the one with the bird fabric is my favorite.
Thank you Sage! Bird is my favourite, too. Hugs from all of us! x Teje
I love the green one with the bird on it too. It’s gorgeous
Thanks for sharing the tutorial too!
Thank you Sarah! I like that bird fabric with birch trees! Hope you enjoy the tutorial! x Teje
YOUR TEA COSIES ARE JUST FABULOUS! SUCH FUN! Wish I had the time to learn how to do patchwork, as well as knit! Ros
Thank you so much Ros! I wish also that you could have time for patchwork because it is really so much fun! I am knitting a fluffy cowl and I hope to show it soon. x Teje
Beautiful tea cosies. I think I like the bird one best.
Thank you Linda! Birdie tea cosy seems to be the most favourite and my friend already took it! I have to make more of them. x Teje
