Snow Pinwheeles and Exiting News!

Hello hello hello!!! Welcome to windy Friday on Nero’s Post and Patch! I’m happy you came because I just have to show you something I made yesterday and to tell you exiting news!
Yesterday I sold some crafts … got some new custom orders … didn’t have time to sew … and in the evening I just had to try if this idea can work. I think it works! It’s always nice to hear how people find their ideas … mine came from here: Emma’s cute jewellery at ‘Silverpebble’!
This is a double pinwheel made with knitting decorated with a little tussel and I love it … them, of course it can’t be just one alone … look also what Nelli has done to My wine barrel cover!
And my exiting news …
‘Fluffy Sheep Quilting’ – doesn’t that sound wonderful and inspiring?! I have showed to you some beautiful fabrics from Cindy’s shop ‘FLUFFY SHEEP QUILTING’! Cindy writes a lovely blog ‘Fluffy Sheep Quilting’ and also she write a newsletter every month to tell us about new fabrics and she has there great tutorials! I have had such a great time with this project! Cindy is so sweet and helpful friend. She gave me fabrics for this project and I really enjoyed making this tutorial for her! I’m a big fan of her shop and soon she is going to have something I absolutely want … Helsinki … ?! can you guess?

Hi! I just wanted to mention that we have had very much conversation about the word GAB! In fact it’s me who talks a lot. Nero is good in writing to his blog but I do the talking. Your little pinwheels look like they could be stars and I can see them hung (many of them) on a very simple Christmas tree with white twinkling lights…..such a mystical, dreamy thought!! I agree with Doreen, they would make lovely Christmas decorations. They could be made from fabric with some metallic running through. I’m looking forward to reading the Newsletter from now on. Well done for getting published

Thank you so much Avis! Yesterday I made these ‘one side’ pinwheeles for brooches and today I made two against each other with tussels both sides. They look great hanging decorations! It seems to be that I miss white because it’s only raining but not snowing. Thank you for your help! x Teje
