Hello, hello, hello! I’m happy to see you and hope you are fine! Today I shall tell you about something new I have tried: digital scrapbook software! Also I have received my beautiful new fabrics! I have here also the mugrug I made a while ago and just a hint about my latest project. We have finally got some rain! Lucky me, because I had washed these fabrics …
I have been learning a great sofware for scrapbooking. New to me and fortunately very easy to use. In ‘Old times’ I used to make scrapbooks, photo albums, notebooks … I made for example a scrapbook for all the dog breeds … but I had never tried digital software and I’m so happy to havea change to learn this and to use this really good and exiting software from ‘My Memories’! There are just so many possibilities what you can create and how! I have tried only small part of them till now. You can use ready templates, papers, prints, colours … and your own photos. I played a little bit with Foxy’s photos ..
Liz from ‘My Memories’ has made lots of very good and helpful videos which you can see in youtube! You can use this software for so many things … make your own photo book or your own unique cards! As we know (even it’s hard to believe) soon we should make Christmas cards! I like to make them by myself and I’m sure this year I shall make them with my new software! I made a quick try with one of the free templates the program has …
You can use the ready templates or you can create your own with lots of, lots of materials, fonts, colours etc! Visit ‘My Memories’ and I’ll get back to this soon!
And here are some of the fabrics I found from my mail box few days ago! I’m so happy to know Cindy from the ‘Fluffy Sheep Quilting’ – wonderful online fabric shop! Cindy is always so sweet and helpful and we shall have a small project together … tell you later about that! I have admired long time these fabrics … birds and cars with vespas and here they are now! And something else …
I know many of you have seen these and lots of wonderful things made with these. I had to wait to have more sewing time and new ideas … many ideas in my mind … Yesterday I finished the latest project. I was also long time in my mind till I ‘finished’ the idea and had time to make it. I love it and I hope you, too. Photos are ready, but my post is not ready, so today I give you a small hint … what you think I have made?
I don’t want to leave you without showing anything finished, so here is a mugrug I made earlier to match the table cloth I made even more earlier …
My days are as you see … something here … something there … a little bit this and a little bit that … but good progress, too! I hope you have lots of lovely projects and you enjoy the autumn!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving so lovely comments!

HI Teje, I love your new fabrics especially the moomins and the retro clock and type writer! They look straight out of my childhood. Your new softwear looks so useful,it is amazing what can be achieved with modern technology. Can I guess you made a tea cosy? Enjoy the rest of the week,
Jane x
Hi Jane and thank you! I love those moomins, clocks and typewriters, too! Hmmm … I think I don’t answer you yet … let’s see what the others guess! x Teje
Oh Teje, I love seeing all those pretty fabrics on your clothesline! I’m imagining all kinds of wonderful things being sewn from them and can’t wait to see what you will make.
Thank you Katherine! They are really lovely and great for so many projects! x Teje
Hello Teje,
Lovely fabric, I LOVE that typewriter one, it’s just perfect! I used to use typewriter a lot before PC (well it really was SO last century!), and I still miss it sometimes, and I wish I would have kept my machine! It could be used for card-making and scrapbooking now but who knew?
Many greetings from Finland again!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you Mia! I miss the typewriters, too! I learnt to type ‘blind’ with those old ones where you needed strong fingers! It was fun but all my mistakes … I think computer is better for me. My father has one of those old, black heavy typewrites and it’s beautiful! I hope I’m not saving that fabric too much and enjoy making something with it! Sun and warmness from Chania! x Teje
What a lovely sight, so see fabrics hanging to dry outside in the fresh air. Love seeing your tribute to Foxy with some digital scrapbooking. Looks like a fun way to play with pictures.
Thank you so much Terri! We have still unexpected hot weather and I on my way to wash the latest fabrics! I shall have a sewing weekend! x Teje
Your autumn looks way better than ours
its funny… I bought much of the same fabric from Cindy – you’re absolutely right. She is so sweet and helpful.
The scrap booking looks beautiful, Terje.
Thank you Cille! We have lovely fabrics and it’s so nice to know Cindy who is ‘close to us’! x Teje
Your fabrics are gorgeous! Now that it is so cold here, I’m thinking about getting the knitting needles out
Love your mug rug. Avis x
Thank you Avis! It’s the great time for knitting! We have still hot! but yesterday I started to knit ‘sleep-socks’ for myself! x Teje
Such a nice sunny picture…..and nothing prettier than cheerful fabric being fluffed by the breezes!! Sigh! Blustery and more November-like here. The colors have been blown off the trees and it truly feels like a Midwest winter is ‘knocking at the door’
Thank you so much! You could come here – we have still hot summer even few days ago it felt like autumn! x Teje
Truly, it’s not really Autumn that I mind, it’s the next season that is so not my fave! Last winter was the best in my books and it broke all kinds of records for warmth and lack of snow!!!-D
Hello Teje
Just catching up as I wasn’t able to load up your post for some reason this week…but now I can!! I love the fabrics in this post, especially blowing on the washing line in the sunshine! Your mug rug is so pretty, and so are the sweet pictures of Foxy. I hope you have fun with your new scrapbooking
Enjoy your weekend.
