The Baby Stars quit is beautiful. Love the old monastery.
Thank you so much Linda! x Teje
Well done Teje, your work is wonderful. I hope you bought some good wine, love that little kitten sitting there. I spotted Moomin fabric, I am sure you can’t wait to start creating with it. It’s raining here but then I think that we really have had our summer now ;0) Take care,
Jane x
Thank you so much Jane! We bought good red wine! First time I have Moomin fabric and love them! Too bad if it’s raining there. We have now perfect weather here. x Teje
Such a cute quilt and I love the fabric your sister sent. My favorite are the hippo prints.
Cindy
Mine, too Cindy! They are the famous Moomins! From the children books written by Tove Jansson and now in so many lovely items as mugs, fabrics etc. How can I decide where to use these special fabrics?! x Teje
Ps. I love those flip flops, too!
The monastery is gorgeous. You are surrounded in beauty.
Thank you Samantha! We have so many beautiful places to visit! x Teje
Hello dear Teje,
Life seems to be great: good wine, dear friend, some moomins and happy things ahead of you
– enjoy!
Many happy thoughts from Finland again!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you dear Mia! I’m so happy for those green and pink moomins … among the other things! x Teje
Good for you, Teje! Well done! It is such a lovely quilt, so airy and fresh. What a beautiful photo. That should be on a postcard or calendar or on my wall, : ). Lady Caroline says “Hey!” to her friend Nero and the girls.
Thank you so much for your sweet words! Quilt calender would be great! I tell your wishes to Nero and the girls! Kisses to Lady Caroline! x Teje
What a lovely sister you have!!!
Thank you Benta! She is sweet and loves fabrics, too! x Teje
Congratulations Teje..you deserve a post there as that quilt is beautiful. I hope you have another beautiful day today!
Thank you so much Carol for your sweet words! x Teje
I’m not surprised your quilt was featured Teje! The monastery looks like a wonderful tranquil place. We have one near here where they make mead
Have a lovely weekend! Avis x
Thank you so much Avis! I had to look what is mead = sima in Finnish. We used to make that at home (ecpesially for the 1 st of May) and I love it! x Teje
Yes, here it is made with honey. I don’t like honey but I love mead……must be the alcohol he-he!
Love ‘Baby Stars’ and the quilting….so perfect! It is so hard to be so busy and receive such lovely tantalizing tidbits of fabric. It is the stuff sweet night dreams are made of! Hugs, Doreen
Thank you Doreen! I would love to start something with those fabrics but I’m also happy that there are waiting something really good when I’ll have time! x Teje
Sweet “quilty” dreams…..(smile)!
Your quilt is very special and I can see why it was featured! Can’t wait to see what you’re going to make out of that gorgeous fabric your sister sent.
Thank you Sage! Those fabrics are so funny but I didn’t have yet time to find ideas for them. x Teje
Congratulations Terje – it is indeed a wonderful quilt
Good oil, good wine and then a stunning building on top of that. Sounds like the perfect day….
Thank you Cille for your wonderful comment! x Teje
