My garden quilt and the WINNER!

Vof vof! It’s me Nero and I have eaten the paper with the winner! No no, just kidding … but first I like to show you ‘Nero’s Garden’ quilt. It was made 2011 but because I have lots of lovely new friends and I have been asked about this quilt, I show it again.

Here I am presenting my quilt at the ‘Blogger’s Quilt Festival’. Wow how proud I was to join there first time with my own quilt! I made mosaics not to have too many photos here. After them you find links to my earlier posts, if you like to read how I met all these animals in my garden. For example I saved the bat from the swimming pool! Hey, that’s me under the tree!

I looked and read them again and I’m sure you enjoy seeing them – for example Hanna is laughing so much on the ‘Finnish Forest’ quilt on the lawn! And the bat and the hedgehog are quite sweet! :::::

And this is my very own, wall hanging quilt with all my little friends …

Here you see, I didn’t eat it, just tasted a little bit. But don’t go yet … even I told you just like that, who is the winner, this was a hard job to do …

I couldn’t work with the scarf so I took it off, but I believe you trust me if I say I didn’t look the names. i tried to get some help from Hanna, but she had her mind outside of the basket …

… one moment I thought it’s better I take all the basket or eat it, because I couldn’t decide what paper to pick … finally here it is … sorry friends, that I could pick only one paper!

Thank you so much for joining my give away! I was so happy to read your comments and how you spend your holidays! How great that many of you are going to have special trips and meet people that you haven’t seen for a long time! Also one really good way to spend holidays is just to relax at home! I shall do that, because someone else here is already really busy and she asked me to tell you that I can’t write so often to my blog as usually. Still I visit you and read your posts … perhaps not leaving so much comments, but here we are … some where here …

We wish you wonderful summer how ever and where ever you spend it!!!

Congrats to the winner! I love your quilt and will have to go back and look at those other posts. You really worked hard to pick out that name. I can’t believe your mom tried to make you do it blind folded.

Congratulations to Benta! Nero is so clever Thank you Teje for showing the garden quilt again. I once stayed in a holiday cottage which had hundreds of bats in the roof. We watched them fly out every night. Avis x

You looked good in that blind fold,but I don’t think I would let Mom put one on me–I’d get scared.
