Nero likes to GIVE his bag AWAY!

Vof Vof Fellows!!! I hope you are fine! I’m fine but just feeling a little bit too hot! Summer is here with lots of sunshine and hot weather! We have made lately these ’2 in 1′ make-up bags and I thought I could have one, too and I was told that I can choose any bag I like!

This new bag has a sweet name ‘Lace and Strawberries’! But I couldn’t choose this … just too girlish for a guy like me!

… even I love strawberries! Then I thought hmmm I don’t really need a make-up bag because a handsome boy like me don’t use make-ups.

Of course I could put my goodies and toys in my bag when I go for holidays …

… but I don’t go for holidays … so I thought the best thing to do is to give my bag to YOU! I couldn’t guess which bag you would like to have, so here is my plan …

If YOU are the lucky one and your name is on that piece of paper that will stuck to my tung, YOU can choose one ’2 in 1′ make-up bag from the bags we have then in our shop! If we have time, perhaps we make new bags … can’t be sure … for the moment you can see the bags in our Etsy shop TEJESARITA.

Because everyone loves stories, it would be nice to hear how you will spend your summer holidays. Perhaps you have planned to travel somewhere or maybe you just want to relax at home! Or if you like, share with us where you have had wonderful holidays or an unforgetable travel!

You can leave your comment (in this post) till next Monday 18.6.2012. Then I shall put all the names in my sun hat, mix them well and the first paper that stucks to my tung is the winner! Amazing you are going to give away such a beautiful make-up bag! I love the way you combined the linen with the doily. It looks absolutely beautiful.
You are lucky to have already such beautiful summer weather. Please take your time to enjoy it! Originally we were planning to go camping with the boys this summer holiday, but they have both decided to go on camps with lots of activities for boys of their age, so I guess this summer my husband and I will go on a holiday with just the 2 of us. That will be for the first time in about 20 years, so I’m really looking forward to it. Well, actually 3 of us, because Fleur will go with us of course!

oh nero what a sweetie you are! thank you for telling us about these lovely bags!! how beautiful they all are and how generous of teje to have this giveaway. i’m not sure yet if i’ll be going anywhere this summer, but i have just put a deposit on a trip for dec 2013. a long way off hee hee, but that’s okay, it’s something to look forward to, it’s special because it’s a trip i’ll take with my dear sister!

I am not able to go on vacation this year, but 3 years ago, my daughter and I drove from here in San Diego to Oklahoma to visit my sister and brother in law. We had a wonderful time on our road trip and saw a lot of the USA! I think that was my favorite vacation ever!! Nero, you and Teje are very generous to offer a 2-in-1 bag to your readers.

I wish I could say I have some exciting travel plans! But mostly my plans will be around the home and hopefully with some new sewing projects. The more I see out there the more I want to try!

Nero thank you so much for the chance to own one of Teje’s beautiful bags! How wonderful it would be to keep my make-up in such a beautiful hand made bag. We will be spending our summer lounging in the backyard as Fred and Gloria, being bassets, sleep a lot in the heat it gives us a lot of “quiet” time. heehee!

Wow! What a great giveaway. Those bags are so cute. We usually like to just hang around our home instead of going away on holiday. We live on 5 acres that is like a park and find it very peaceful and relaxing to be here.

What a lovely generous giveaway I’ve had a lot of lovely holidays in my lifetime but one I have most fond memories of was when I went to Norway with my school when I was 10 years old. I remember standing on the deck and waving and shouting to my parents who stood on the pier as the ship I was on sailed out of the Tyne, before crossing the North Sea. Our teachers told us not to eat too many sweets because they would make us sea-sick. I can honestly say, I have never eaten so much chocolate and sweets in 48 hours since. We spent a fortune!! The best bit was, the kids were all fine…..but the teachers were very, very sea-sick he-he Avis x

How lovely of you! We have a week booked in Norway, at my cousins cottage on a little island south of Bergen, it used to be my grandmothers and I spend many summers there. It is my favourite place in the world!

19 days until my trip to sweden & finland commences.
We start our trip (from Oregon) in St. Paul, MN to go see a Minnesota Twins Baseball game. Fly out Sunday 1 july to Goteberg. The 5th finds us on the high-speed train to Stockholm where we might not be tourists and instead go talk Stearman Biplanes with a fellow pilot.
The 7th has us boarding the ferry to Mariehamn to partake of the Alandia Jazz Festival and maybe find some long-lost family. Depending on how that goes, our next city is Turku/Abo. This is the city where we finally do the tourist thing.
Then off to Helsinki, possibly The Magic Flute in Savonlinna and hopefully The Ottobre shop in Rovaniemi.
I have friends to see in both Goteberg and Helsinki and we will fly home from Helsinki.
I have all the fabric stores in Goteberg and Stockholm entered into my Smart phone – just in case and will finish tonight with my Turku & Helsinki finds.

I really enjoyed your Spring visit to Finland.
I would love to win this bag. I haven’t made mine off your excellent instructions yet but there is still some time.

Hi Nero, your so handsome and I had a nice laugh as you talked about how you might use a back like this. Our vacationing happens most often in the fall… we like the cooler weather and spend most of the time hiking and swimming in the lake. And how wonderful to celebrate all that bloggy awesomeness!! Oh Nero! How generous of you to share your stuff, but that is what we have come to expect from you as you are so kind to your girls and all your friends. That strawberry and lace bag is just beautiful and boy would I like to win that! I could take it to northern Minnesota with me when I go to visit my college friend. My vacation… I hope I get to take one this year. I just go back to work, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford time off to take a little vacation this summer, but if I do, I know just where it’ll be. My roommate’s family has a cabin in the woods, by a river, and it’s so nice and out-of-the-way that I love going. Wood stove, no running water, and even though there’s a generator so we can have electricity, we don’t usually use it, opting instead to use candles to really get a rustic feel going. I love spending my vacations there!

Great giveaway! Great Blog! For our vacations, we drive from Ontario, Canada to Florida in the US each September to vacation with our aunt and uncle. They are getting older and we don’t know how many more times we will be able to do this together. Florida is lovely, but more than anything – we love spending time with family!
