What a lovely pictures(especially the last one!) Finland must be such a beautiful country with all the forests and lakes. I hope you enjoy your visit.
Thank you Dorien! I’m so happy to have your unique scarf with me as it is still colder than in Chania. Today it’s a lovely sunny day and we go for a drive. xxx Teje
oh teje, thank you for the photos! i’ve been so looking forward to your visit back to finland. i’ve always wanted go to that part of the world. i just know i’d love it. the forest is out of a storybook.
enjoy your time! and thank you for sharing!
(will we see a hedgehog? maybe?)
Thank you Lori! Finland is almost only forest and lakes and it’s beautiful. That house for the hedgehog was made long time ago when one hedgehog got lost from his mom and didn’t know to go for ‘a winter sleep’. He lived in that house in our garage all the winter and then went back to forest. Now that house is empty. I send you lots of wishes from here! xxx Teje
Hi!! It`s so different from Crete!! But it is very similar to Norway!! Have a great stay! AnneK:-)
Thank you Anne! I think it’s similar here like in Norway, but you have those beautiful fjors and mountains! x Teje
Looks beautiful. Have fun!
Thank you Linda! x Teje
Nice photos. The third photo from the top could be from my environment. Same kind of trees and stones.
Thank you! xTeje
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Have fun visiting with your friends and family.

Have a wonderful trip Teje, it looks as though the snow has melted just in time for you!
Jane x
Thank you Jane! Snow has melted and we have had sunshine. I don’t mind about the cloudy days because there is all the long hot summer waiting for me in Crete! x Teje
So glad you didn’t forget us while on holiday. The mossy rock never looked better t
Thank you so much for your sweet words! I’m so happy to have you all with me here in my mind! x Teje
Whoops! I must have hit the wrong button. Anyway, your rose scarf looks lovely draped over the mossy rock . Such a change from your other home—-so different and yet both so beautiful. Have a wonderful time and thanks for sharing your photos.
Thanks for showing us photos of your home. – they are lovely. Your garden appears to be a forest!
Thank you Dianne! Even we don’t live in the countryside, we are lucky to have forest in our ‘garden’! x Teje
Lovely to see your Finnish photos today, Teje! I hope you have a wonderful visit to your home country. Love the little bags and the flower scarf too!

Beautiful pictures! I’ve never been to Finland before, but it looks like the kind of place I might like to visit someday! I’m a sucker for any place with forests, really. (You’d think I’d get enough of that from living in Canada, but no!)
Thank you Ria! When I see Canada’s nature in tv it reminds me so much Finland, it looks so similar! x Teje
Welcome! I love your view to our beloved country, Teje! Your spring is so much further around Kymeenlaakso than in here – amazing! We’re following closely though. Enjoy, dear friend!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you Mia! Today the ground is quite green but not so much yet at the trees. It’s great season to see the change every day and tiny flowers popping out!
x Teje
Wow! There are a lot of little islands which you can see from the air! My daughter visited her Finnish friends in Helsinki a couple of years ago and she loved it. So spacious
It sounds like you are having a wonderful time! Avis x
