That’s a beautiful quilt, I love the colours you used which are just perfect for the setting too. Great landscape, the colour of that water is just amazing.
Thank you Paula for your lovely comment! Have a lovely week! x Teje
That is indeed a dream quilt Teje, your hard work has paid off, it is a real piece of art and you should treasure it. Thanks for the lovely tour…Crete is indeed a beautiful island. We last visited in 1985 and have very fond memories. We have some much needed rain here today so it was lovely to see your sunshine,
Jane x
Thank you Jane! We have now very strong wind from south – laundry is dry in one hour! I’m happy to hear that you have been in Crete! It’s a wonderful island and there is always something new to see!
x Teje
Hi Teje, your quilt has been a labour of love. Those dancing fishes are so fresh and summery. I love those colours together…..and the hand quilting WOW! Something to cherish forever. Thank you for the local tour. It looks like paradise
Avis x
Thank you Avis! I am so happy for this quilt! We had really fun weekend! My face is tired from all that laughing! x Teje
Sounds like fun! Thank you for the link for the HST festival. I’m next to your fishes
Have a lovely day!
Great to have you there with me, Avis! I go to say hello to you and the others! x Teje
Ps. Are we always at the same time front of the computer?!
Well, I have my daytime free now (since two weeks ago), working only a few evenings per week now. So I check out my favourite blogs, do chores etc., sew whenever possible, go out to work and then blog some more….that’s my ideal day
I’m so happy to have several days of the week as yours! Lucky us! x Teje
PS. I’m in the middle of BIG cleaning before my holidays.
It really is a dream quilt, Teje! So beautiuflly made, and I love the colours and the quilting! It looks perfect shown with your beautiful blue and green sea pictures and bright sunshine….you do live in a lovely place. Here it is chilly though the sun is shining (for now!)
Have a happy week.
Helen x

Thank you Latane! They are so beautiful summer colours! x Teje
Beautiful pictures and a beautiful quilt! I love the green binding.
Thank you Beth! x Teje
Wow, I was wondering where your paradise is: in Greece. Well weatherwise anyway. And I suppose Easter and all other celebrations are filled with food, glorious food. A Finn living in Greece, I have to ponder on that.
From the darkness (in the winter at least) to the heavenly beaches of Greece.
Oh sorry, I have to say something about the kissy fish: love it, love the colours and the pattern. It’s on my (bucket or to do) list.
Thanks for the wonderful pictures of heaven!
Thank you Betty! I’m happy to meet you and I visited you blog just to find how beautiful quilts you make!
I live in Chania in Crete. Greece is in deed very different than Finland. Here the weather is so wonderful and the nature is beautiful. But as you know every place has the positive and negative parts. Sunshine I can send to you! x Teje
You constantly amaze me, Teje, with your beautiful quilts, and this one is absolutely stunning!
Thanks for your sweet comment yesterday about Toby. We’ll sure miss him…he was my best friend and constant companion for many years.
Dear Sage, thank you so much for your lovely words! I can’t still believe that Toby is not anymore with you – he was so sweet and with you our best blog friend! Again crying – we miss him, too! Try to be busy Sage, not to be too sad! x Teje & Nero
Your quilt turned out beautiful! I love the colors and I love the name you gave it. Just perfect! Great setting to take pictures, featuring my favorite colors, the colors of the sea!
Thank you Terri! That name ‘My Dream Quilt’ has a story, because when I entered to the give away we were asked what we would make with those fabrics and just ‘from some where’ it came to my mind to answer that I would make my dream quilt. It was first time I won a give away and I love these fabrics!
You should see the sea today – we have awfull strong wind and there are huge waves with white and lots of different blue and turquoise – fantastic!
x Teje
