Your mini quilt is gorgeous, Teje!! Just right for spring. I have a bird just like that nesting in a bush just outside my window – every day he collects twigs and things to build his nest … he’s very busy at the moment! I love spring!
Thank you Fiona! That sounds great – how nice you can follow them from your window! Spring is wonderful season! x Teje
And again a lovely little quilt! Not quite the colors I’m used from you, but it’s great. The most beautiful picture this time is the ‘art of nature’. Simply beautiful. You really have such a great eye for beautiful things.
Have a great day!
Thank you Dorien! I like to think that blogging has teached me to take better photos. Now I take so many photos to get few good shots to share with you! Every patchwork becomes different and often I miss some colours I would like to use. I like those leaves even they are a little bit too ‘soft’ for me.
Enjoy your week! x Teje
Lovely stuff . . . Especially the bird- the back and the front!!
Thank you Benta! x Teje
Wow! That bird is soooo like a real life female blackbird. The way you’ve used the pattern on the fabric for the feathers is pure genious. I love the zig-zaggy legs too
Thank you so much! We have also many of those blackbirds in the garden! In fact I forgot them when I made this birdie. x Teje
Nero it looks like that post wore you out. I can’t wait to see what your mom is going to do with those bright colored fabrics. Now get some rest Nero.
Thank you for your sweet words! I had a good night sleep and now I’m ready for new adventures! x Nero
The bird is so realistic Teje and I can’t wait to see what you create with those bright fabrics!
Thank you Kirsten! x Teje
I love our little bird quilt. It is very sweet and so is the lovely Nero.
Thank Louise! x Teje
teje! there is my quilt! i love it so much. i still have to take photos and share on my own blog. it’s so pretty hanging in my studio, wait till you see!
you are a sponsor?! wow, that is exciting, i will follow your links and see what i find, but i already have the most wonderful prize, my bird.
hi nero!
xxx lori
Thank you Lori! I’m happy if you like the little bird! Birds are now so busy in the garden making their homes. Sun is shining and Nero and enjoy them selves outside all the day.
xxx Teje
The Easter Egg Hunt sounds like fun, (of course we have so much going on right now, we will probably miss it
). The bird mug rug is beautiful. I like how it is detailed on the front and back.
After all that quilt-helping, Nero, I’d be tuckered out too. Tell your Mom she just keeps getting better & better!
Thanks Sage! It is challenging to be a quilting assistant and a model – but we have fun! x Teje
