Mug rugs and ‘PinGreen’ fabric bundle!

Hello – Hello – Hello !!! Sunny sewing Sunday while dreaming some fabric shopping – or winning!

Here you are – something small with my special fabrics – as I promised you last time! I made two little quilts, mug rugs, potholders … looks nice on the wall, too!

There is something really happy with the pinwheeles and especially with bright colours like these! Most of the fabrics are ‘Sugar and Spice’ from Quilted Fish – the same as I used for ‘My Dream Quilt’. I didn’t like cover them with stiches and made only one around quilting.

On the other side there are simple squares. I made ‘unvisible’ loops because I imagine these with a lovely mug of coffee or tea. Idea for these tiny quilts started from the ‘Candy’ mini quilt (tutorial here). I thought that it would be a beautiful set to have the mini quilt on the wall or on the table (with spring flowers on it) and then these mug rugs next to it!

These are in my etsy shop. I hope some one likes this colour tread!

Katy from ‘monkey do’ is having a great fabric contest! We make our own fabric bundle with fabrics from the lovely shop ‘Pink Castle’ - and we can win those fabrics!!!

Today was a strange morning with the new ‘summer time’ so with my morning coffee I was window shopping in the ‘Pink Castle’. How difficult it can be to choose … finally I ended up collecting beautiful pinks and greens! I would love to win these …

Aren’t they just the most sweet springish colours! ooops now I lost the paper for the fabric details … I’ll add them here later. I really enjoy watching this mosaic and I’m imagining a quilt with these and white! … and here are the details for these fabrics:

I love your mug rugs and mini quilt and I think your fabric bundle is very nice too. I could see making a quilt out of that set too. Have a nice trip to Finland. Take lots of pictures to share with all of us.

Cute little mug rugs! They are fun to do aren’t they?

I love the oranges on your table. This design looks really nice. I like the aqua waiting to be used on the side!

Lovely mug rugs! I love that color combo with the lime green against the denim blue colors. Goodness, those flowers are beautiful. As is your new triangle sewing project. Great to see you having so much fun with all your quilting projects these days.
