The warm weather and the chance to be outside more are making me happy today. I have lots of jobs I need to do around the house and garden, but we took some time out to go for a walk in the woods this morning.
The sight of all that fabric drying outside is beautiful, Teje. Can’t wait to see what you make with all of it.
Thank you Fiona! I’m happy to hear that your can also enjoy outside! Happy weekend! x Teje
What delightful pictures of all things wonderful. Just looking at them makes me so happy too! Mostly fabric drying underneath an olive tree in Greece….absolute bliss!!! B-)
Thank you for your sweet comment! x Teje
This post really made me smile. Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures. I love all the sea glass and then the picture of the water washing over the rocks. It makes me think of a quilt design.
Cindy
Your new fabrics look delicious!!
I spy a fabulous array of Loulouthi prints by my favorite Anna Maria Horner on your clothesline! I adore that collection.
Love seeing all the sunshine you are having, especially so you can be outside. I have always wanted some sea glass too, so I had a friend give me a jar full of sea glass he collected in the Bahamas. It’s so beautiful to look at, isn’t it!
Good for you for doing the sashing on your blocks. (that’s one of my least favorite steps in quilting)
Thank you Terri! Yes, Loulouthi it is and ‘loulouthi’ is a flower in Greek! They are beautiful but the colours are a little bit stronger that I expected. Perhaps I don’t use them all together.
Sea glass is amazing! How nice you got a full jar from your friend!
You have it right, sashing is not very interesting and these are not really my colours so I hope to finish this quilt soon.
Happy weekend! x Teje
Love the new fabrics. And finding sea glass is so awesome! My mom has found a glass fishing float on the beach once, and always goes back down after big storms hoping to find another one.
Thank you for your lovely comment! Happy weekend! x Teje
OH! teje! you found some! okay, now i really have to come to your island.
what lovely calm after the storm, i love the fabric drying on the line, and seeing your pups in the sunshine, it’s looking very lovely there, a perfect day to work on your newest patchwork.
here, it is storming now, we have been expecting it, lots of cloudy skies and rain. but we need it so much and i do love it. it’s a nice change from all the sunshine we usually have.
enjoy your weekend dear friend! xxx lori
Dear Lori, as you see I found the treasure and somewhere last expected! Now the weather is sunny and beautiful! We shall work in the garden these next days. How funny that now you have the storm.
Happy weekend to you my friend! x Teje
Love all that fabric.. looks so yummy.. the weather looks gorgeous! And your dogs are adorable! The larger one looks kind of like a leonberger? I don’t know how to spell that. Is that the breed he is? We have a Newfoundland, also a big dog! Love your blocks, look forward to watching them come together. Enjoy your weekend!
xo
Kelli
Thank you Kelli! Your dog must be adorable and really wonderful breed! My sister had a Leonberg but my biggest one, Nero is a Shepherd (half German and half Belgium). Happy weekend to you! x Teje
Hi Teje, I’m pleased you are enjoying your new fabrics. I like all of your different styles of pin wheels! We have been tidying up in the garden today, ready for the new seaon…..but I’m going to finish a quilt tomorrow, I hope
Happy Saturday, Avis x
Oh Teje, I’m drooling and drooling over those fabrics, so yummy! Very nice fabrics on the line too. Never thought of sea glass, perhaps I’ll look for it next time on the beach… Such a contrast (weather) at the beach house. Lovely weather! Love the labels! I’ll have to check out that site.
Wonderful Sunday to you and yours!
The spring pictures look great Teje! So many smiling furry faces!:)
I just love the pictures on your blog. It is so wonderful to see the ocean and such. The blocks are great too. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Ros! It was a happy weekend and now we are cutting the ‘winter’ grass and doing some gardening! Have a lovely week! x Teje
Beautiful fabrics, bright sunshine and pretty seaglass……such a sweet post, Teje! and of course those lovely dogs keeping you company and having fun too!
Have a happy week.

Thank you Helen! x Teje
The colors in your photo of the water swirling around the rocks is absolutely stunning. Looks like a busy week!
Thank you! Water is always so exiting as you know Sage! x Teje
Your weekend looked lovely, Teje. I especially liked seeing the clothesline display of beautiful fabrics. What will you make with them?
Thank you Katherine! Those fabrics had stronger colours than I expected and I couldn’t find good idea for them. This morning I thought I could mix some of them with left overs from ‘Sugar and Spice’ and to make a quilt for my hb. I think that will work.
x Teje
What beautiful pictures! How great that you found some sea glass yourself! I bet your babies loved spending time with you over the weekend!
Thank you! Nero, Hanna and Foxy are so happy because now we can be more outside! x Teje
I am so far behind, and look it is already the weekend again.
I love all of the fabric choices and the pictures of the sea. But of course my favorite pictures are the ones of your sweet doggies and your cute guest.
