Well it’s obvious that in your home you are doing all the work and your lovely pets are enjoying their lazy days! The idea for the wonky flower is great. Why paper piece if you can get results like this?
Groetjes, Dorien
Thank you Dorien for your sweet comment! I thinks this improvising method suits me better! I have add still links to Kati and Leanne. I had difficulties with internet, but now it’s ok.

Lovely projects today Teje! The orange flower is so pretty, can’t wait to see what you do with it! And lucky, lucky Nero – all cuddled up! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you Kelly! Next one is going to be blue…
I have add still few links (perhaps you follow Kati and Leanne). Had some internet difficulties but now it’s ok.

Oh so many links, thank you. I’m especially looking forward to pippi longstocking, she was my favourite as a child, I still have the books. Did you knw Steig Larssen’s character Lisbet Salander is based on Pippi as an adult?
I’m happy to hear that you are also Pippi’s fan! I have lost my boogs – would be great to look them again. I could look for them in our store when I go to Finland! I don’t know Steig Larssen or Lisbet Salander – I’ll go find out – thank you for telling me!
x Teje
I used to have a Pippi Longstocking, but I’ve no idea what happened to it. Love you mini quilt, you almost peruade me to join in! And those birdie look super now that you have hand quilted them. I’ve only just started hand quilting and think it looks super.
Thank you Dianne! I’m happy to hear that you quilt by hand! Enjoy and have a great week! x Teje

oh teje, i love LOVE the hand quilting around the birds, what is that small thread spool? is it special quilting thread? embroiderery thread? i have to just start something, i feel it so much each time i come to visit you. i want to sew!
and pippi! my favorite!
nero is so cute and cosy.
Thank you Lori! I’m happy if I have given to you inspiration! These threads are DMC coton perle n:o 8. They are for embroiderery but also very common in hand quilting. You will see them in many quilting blogs. They have so beautiful shine (not too much) and lots of colours. I’m sure you can find them from your locan shop because I can.
Have fun! x Teje
Hi Teje, your latest work is beautiful as always and so good to see Nelli watching over you. Dear sweet Nero looks so comfy in your bed…our Billy does love to be on our bed too….they know the best places don’t they! Have a great week.
Jane x
Thank you Jane! Today started with a lovely sunshine and in the afternoon it was raining really hard … I wished to snuggle in the blankets like Nero!
Have a nice time! x Teje
Hyvää Ystävänpäivää!!!

Hyvaa Ystavanpaivaa sinullekin, Ulla! Kiitos kun kommentoit ja erityisista terveisista kotimaastani! x Teje
Ihanaa Ystävänpäivää, Teje!
And wonderful sewings once again! And it must be lovely to have company while creating, I’m mostly alone and wouldn’t mind Nelli to visit me on my working space
Happy sewing!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you Mia! It’s fun to have Nelli with me, only I needed to give her space next to the window where I used to have lots of things! Every inch is well used in my small attic!
Happy felting!
x Teje
I love the handstitching on those birds and your funky flower is so neat!
