PATCHWORK SUN AND SAILING BOAT!

Vof – vof!!! Hi everyone! Great to see you on this beautiful, sunny Saturday! We have made new patchwork picture and we have been cleaning and laundrying because two days we have had surprisingly beautiful weather!

I love to be outside in the garden on days like this … there is always something exiting … something smelling good in the air … someone running behind the olive tree … hhmmmm we had a small quarrel yesterday, because I was chasing Nelli. I was sitting in my normal guarding place and suddenly I saw something moving behind the stone wall. Of course I hade to run quickly there to see if it is a mouse or what … it was Nelli and then she began to run and I was running after her but she was running more and I couldn’t catch her. Then she disappeared to the neighbour’s field. I was strongly told not to do that again if I like to be friend with Nelli!

This is our latest sunshine. It’s on the self of our small etsy shop if you like to have a small summer view for your home!

I guess it’s quite funny small fabric picture! Now I have also a little bit more lightful photo to show you the patchwork flower (also in our shop) …

So now what … maybe it’s time to continue the pink baby quilt …

This was started just after the blue baby quilt but now it has been waiting on the side. While geting new ideas and inspiration, it’s a good moment to finish this. Perhaps even quilt it outside if the weather continues like this!

Yesterday there was a wonderful surprise from the post office! A present from far away from Leona! Leona writes a lovely blog and she makes amazing quilts! Visit her to see her beautiful craft in “Leona’s Quilting Adventure”! Thank you Leona, I love these fabrics and the pouch that you have made so perfectly!

Look how beautiful colours in the morning sun! And the thread is woollen from Aurifil! I am exited to try that!

Vof – you see what I meant … there is again something in the tree! … okey I know it’s Nelli and she knows that I can’t climb to the olive tree!

I go to continue my jobs … hang the laundry out, finish the ‘black eye bean’ soup and who knows what I shall find from the bushes! Wish you a wonderful weekend and hope to see you soon!

Poor Nelli. I bet she was surprised to have big Nero chasing her. Our poor cat Nestle is being chased all the time by puppy Freighter. Sometimes doggies don’t understand that kitties don’t like it.

Your new projects are great. The pink blanket and wall pictures are very nice. I really like the new fabrics you got from Leona.

I love your pretty little seaside picture. Very greek!
Our dogs don’t chase the cats, Brynn and George – well not inside the garden they don’t. But if we see them when we are out walking, they would like to chase them then. I wonder what the difference is?

  Thank you Dianne! How nice that your dogs and cats can be so good friends. I see in many garden dogs and cats all together. I think our difficulty is that Nero loves Nelli and wants to be with her, but Nelli is affraid. Sometimes they may even sleep in the same (big) bed! x Teje

If Nelli didn’t want to be chased, she shouldn’t have run! Both my pups will chase any cat that runs; they think it is a great game of fun. Martha doesn’t get chased, because she doesn’t run.

  That is so true but how to get them to understand not to run! When Nero and Nelli are inside, they are friends because no one is running around.

I like to be outside when it’s sunny too, and smell the fresh air. Looks like a beautiful day there. Love your patchwork sun and sailboat scene, Teje! You’re so good at making these appliqué scenes.

What a lovely postman you have, LOL. It s snowing here tonight, and both my girls are out this evening. Lisa has driven in the snow, but not Niki, but I think tonight the snow will be ok, it may get silly tomorrow though, maybe the schools will close if there is lots! Snow day = sewing day!!!

  Thank you Janet! Nelli don’t trust Nero, other wise they could be best friends. Today we have spring here, but ofcourse it will still change many times. I had a lovely walk with the Golden Retriever; I am taking care of her again this weekend. x Teje & Nero

You know, Nero, I sometimes chase my kitty and get told to “be nice!”. Takes all the fun out of it, huh? I really just want to play–why can’t they figure that out?

Mom says to tell you she LOVES your baby quilt with the little birds on it.

We’ve had SNOW, lots of it overnight. Oscar loves the snow and refuses to come back inside. He runs round and round the garden throwing the snow up in the air and rolling it. He doesn’t seem to feel at all cold. Have a great week. Ros and Oscar

Well……you are the same age as me! and Leona sent you a piece of the same fabric I used in my disappearing 9 patch quilt top…..and you like sunny faces too! If you don’t know how to type them use colon ( shift and the key to the right of letter L on the keyboard) then hyphen (next to zero) then shift zero.
