First of January 2012! A new year just in the beginning … I hope that this is going to be really good year for all of you!!!

Thank you Donna! I was thinking so much to make ‘Winter in Finland’ for my Finnish series but it’s difficult so I go again by instinct and make just what comes to my mind! Any way it’s winter also here and even we have +10, with rain and north wind it feels very cold! I don’t have spiring yet in my mind! Happy New Year! x Teje

Thank you Helen! This year I try be more creative and make what I have in my mind and not to think always so practically. This ‘beach and sea’ is something I have been thinking for a while but just couldn’t start. I was hoping to sew all the evening but poor Nero is so affraid about the fireworks (yesterday evening was a nightmere to him and there are still some today) so I have to be near to him.

Your Nero and my Luc look related. Luc is 11 and still hiking well. He has had 2 knee surgeries so his ability to get around is remarkable. Seeing Nero’s beautiful coat really shows Luc needs a hair appointment. We live in Montana so winter is a really cold and dirty time for doggies.

Hi! Thank you for your sweet comment! I think Luc is beautiful! Nero is 7,5 and has problem with his bag legs (like his parents and sisters). Now Nero doesn’t have so much fur because till now it has felled. Soon he will have again wonderful, thick winter fur. I wish you, your family and lovely dogs Happy New Year! x Teje

We are sure looking forward to another year of your wonderful creativity, Teje! Poor Nero–fireworks can be so scary for so many pups. Our Maggie was terrified, but fortunately neither Sage nor Toby seem to be affected. We even heard gun shots at 1000 acres last time we were there (they allow duck hunting on parts of the park away from where the dogs go) and Sage was OK with it.

Thank you Mia! I’m so happy if I can send you some sun! Now I understand or remember better how difficult it is during the long dark winter – here the summer is long and too hot and then I miss Finnish summer, but now when I’m feeling cold I miss the sun, too! But you know, mostly I miss 4 seasons! It sounds grazy but here often we change from the t-shirt straight to the winter coat! Hugs from Teje
