Thank you Jane! I can’t believe that it’s only one week to go! Thanks for sharing beautiful Christmas photos from London! Have a lovely week! x Teje
What a pretty candle holder! I love that rich brown color. Be careful having a cloth holder surrounding an open flame. Looks like fun to make!
Thank you Terri! You have it so right – we need to be very careful with the candles! Have a lovely week! x Teje
What a great idea! Love it! Thanks for the tutorial! I’ll have to check out your Finnish Christmas cookies, guess they are similar to Norwegians….
Wishing you a lovely week!
What a beautiful candle glass you make, so easy!!!!. Mery Christmas and Happy Newyear.
Thank you Tiny! Have a wonderful Christmas! x Teje
It’s nice that the box around the candle holder looks like gingerbread! I also like your heart-shaped potholders. Thanks for your nice comment in my blog. Hyvää joulunodotusta!
Kiitos Tiina! Oikein Hyvaa Joulua ja Onnellista Uutta Vuotta! x Teje
That’s a great idea for a candle holder..do you put your tealight in a glass container first? Merry Christmas Teje..and a happy New Year..I’ll be back after my trip to Taiwan for my son’s wedding, at the end of January.
Thank you Carol! Put always the tealight in the glass to be safe! And especially when using fabric or some other decoration near to the flame.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! x Teje
Oooh, these are great, thank you for sharing. I am adding these to my list of things to try!! And now I am off to follow your links!

Such a pretty candle holder. Wishing a very happy Christmas. Hope you all have fun! Ros and Oscar
Aww you have some awesome Christmas ideas here. I really like the felt candleholder. I would love to try to make one… maybe this weekend. I am fifth grade teacher and my Science lab randomly had some felt lying around that I think I can use!:)
What a lovely post, Teje!
Your decoration seems so Finnish to me, wonderful, and I loved this tutorial, i would love to make a gingerbread-house with same technique…Maybe next year!
Happy days of sewing!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you Mia! I think you should make that gingerbread-house as you make your felted works! Many years ago my sister (she made cloths and jackets from leather) made that kind of house from leather and she had used also wadding and quilted it! And now I realize that next uear I should make with my materials = a patchwork-gingerbread-house! Do you think that next year we would be able to begin early enough to make all the ideas we have?!
I have in the oven Christmas cace where is red wortleberry ‘marmelade’ (=puolukka sose) in the dough! I think it’s going to be really good! x Teje
