NERO’S POST: DEAR SANTA …

Dear Santa Claus, I hope you and Rudolf are fine there far away in North! I hope one day I could come to meet you in your Santa Claus village! www.santaclausvillage.info

I have put Christmas decorations around and wear my ’tonttu myssy’ - so ready for Christmas celebration! I have been a good boy – at least I have done my best … playing with the girls …

… helping in the kitchen – here we make chicken soup!

I have tried to make my blog better and more enjoyable, showing our quilts …

… taking care or Foxy … keeping company to Nelli …

… guarding and watching around …

I would like to wish something for the Christmas. Could you please give some lovely presents to my friends and readers because they are all so special and wonderful! I wish you bring also presents to my sweet girls! I would like to have a new ball, blue if possible, some doggie bones and goodies!

We have a fire place - I have heard you come from there to leave presents! Hanna doesn’t like the hat, but she is doing her best to be a good girl!

I have been watching You and Rudolf in www.santatelevision.com ! I know you are very busy now making all the presents and then travelling around sharing them. Wearing my magical birch-shoes, I’m ready to help to help you!

I know that in winter you need felted boots with fur but I guess in summer time you wear these magic shoes…

I was again so happy modelling with my brownie cap that I just couldn’t help myself bursting into laughter …

I guess Christmas for you here is a lot different from back in Finland. I still remember doing a holiday trip to Finland to Santa’s Post Office on the Arctic Circle, which was awesome, and learning to lasso reindeer as well.

Merry Christmas Nero (and girls) and Teje: What an excellent letter to Santa–You just didn’t say you had been a good boy, you gave evidence of your good behavior, and as usual, you thought of others first in wishing them nice gifts and a willingness to help out. I know Santa will find that blue ball for you and bring plenty of treats for you and your girls. Our gift is all year long by enjoying your blog, appreciating Teje’s lovely work (yours was the best tree in Apartment Therapy–bravo!) and seeing pictures of your world.

Dear Nero – I think you have been a very good boy this year. I suspect Santa will leave lots of presents for you near the fireplace.

I wonder, do you get snow in Greece? We get lots of snow here in Colorado, so we usually have a “White Christmas.”

  Thank you Kathryn! We get here snow only up on the mountains. Perhaps few drops wet snow but it doesn’t stay on the ground. One winter was exception, about 6 years ago, we had lots of snow and it stayed 3 days! I have some photos in my old post ‘Snowhite and Valentine day’. We hope you get everything you ask for Nero. We know you have been a very good boy and you were even good with the Santa hat on your head. (Don’t tell Santa, but our humans tried to put one of those on us and well, we did not like it one bit!) We really liked the website you linked to. Especially the video of Santa with the Huskies.

  Thank you for your lovely comment! How great you saw the Huskies – I love them, too! I can imagine that most dogs are not comfortable wearing a hat, but surprisingly Nero kept it quite well. I just know Santa is going to bring you, Hanna, Foxy and Nelli all the balls and toys you want! Who could resist such a sweet, smiling face? I do love your little magic shoes, but I bet they’re hard to walk in. Did your Mom make Foxy’s sweater? I’m betting she did!
