What a great way to make the squares – I like these time-saving tips … I’m going to try and remember this for when I finally start to quilt something!!
Beautiful project! I’ve always loved this technique for making HST – seems so simple and they turn out perfectly every time. Love your colors for these pinwheels – perfect for a late summer project.
What a beautiful quilt! So vibrant!
I enjoyed seeing the fabric progress into pinwheels and then the top. And that picture of it in the sun blowing in the wind is a beauty! Can’t wait to see how you quilt this one. Happy Sewing!
Looks so pretty already, Teje!
And I admire SO much anyone, who gets a whole quilt finished…With my patience similar to a 3-years-old
I just cannot… But they’re just so beautiful once finished, I cannot wait to see this!
Happy weekend soon!
Yours,
Mia
It is beautiful! The pin wheels are lovely in red and orange, the baby will be wrapped up snugly!
And now you have shown e a quicker way to cut the squares! Great team work! ( and a super quilt top too!)
I like the way you did your triangles haven’t seen those instructions before thank you. Love the colours. Joy
Beautiful! Can’t wait to see it when it is quilted.
Beautiful. You do great work.

What a great way to do pinwheels and triangle blocks. THanks for sharing. I love the quilt. Simple and elegant, can’t wait to see how you do the top stitching.
I love the fresh and fun colours that you used.
Great tutorial! I’m getting more and more tempted to try quilting, but I’m a bit scared that once I start I’ll become addicted…
Awesome Teje! After this great tutorial, I know how much appreciate my convalescence present. You are amazing. xoxo!
I might just have to utilize your tutorial to help me with some curtains I’d like to make to match the quilt on my bed. Thank you! Have a bright and sunny weekend!
When I was quilting, I had many clever ways of cutting triangles – but this one, I didn’t see in my head – and it is so clear and accurate. I had a way of cutting a great number of half triangle pairs out of one large triangle, but it involved marking diagonals and sewing along them, then cutting – the problem with that is that your bias can drift a little bit, and it’s hard to mark fabric without pulling it slightly – and hard to be accurate, so that the triangles could come out with a slightly twisted bias. Your work is so clean and happy – but that sounds like you!
Your quilt top looks fantastic!
