Love your quilts!! Nice pictures!! Nothing is like a greek summerday…….Wish I was there!! Where I am did the rain pour down for days……Anne:-)
Hi Teje..I always love all your work and these are all beautiful and will be extra special now that you’re sewing on these lovely original labels. I can just imagine you in your home in the heat of summer sewing these wonderful summer quilts! I hope you have the most enjoyable week.
I am getting better at remembering to add labels, but you remind me that I have two labels on my notice board, and the quilts have been given to their new home. I must remember to take the label next time we visit!
Now i am going to visit the link, and see at I can learn!
Happy Sunday
I love how unique your labels are for each different item. Very creative! Hugs!
Love your Lables and your Quilt and am jealous of your Greek sunshine
Very cool labels indeed and a nice excuse to see a lot of your quilts again, which I always enjoy! Thank you for the sweet comments you have been leaving us lately — you always make me smile with them! Looking forward to seeing what else you have been sewing lately!
Hi Teje,
I never thought about putting a label on my quilts. But it sure finishes it. Thank you for the link to Rebecca’s blog.
I like the looks of your labels, Teje! I’m in the process of finishing a quilt for my daughter upon the birth of our first grand-daughter and have been thinking about how I want to do the label. Thanks for the good ideas!
Ann, Sage Mom
I love the idea of doing hand embroidery for a quilt label! What a nice surprise and treat to discover that on the back of a handmade project. I’m also loving your sea pictures and your fabulous pillow cover!
Hi Teje,
Your quilts are wonderful and EVEN more precious with those handmade labels! They just add that extra bit of personal touch and, even they might seem like some extra work, they just emphasize the hard work you put into your quilts. Love all of them!
Yours,
Mia
I love your labels. Especially the first one. I have only labelled a couple of quilts so far. Everything else has been sent as gifts without me thinking to do it first. I must change that! And your stitching of the star at the top is beautiful. Enjoy your summer weather. We are not having so much summer in the UK this year!
I just love all of your beautiful quilts. I really like the two you made for summer. Labeling them is such a good idea. Enjoy your beautiful weather. We have heat, but not much wind.
Beautiful quilts and pillow! I did the same thing at one time…..I had boxes of squares cut. It is hot here in Iowa. Even on the river the breeze is hot.
wow, some beautiful work goimg on here.now following you through freshly peiced WIP linky
I love your quilt labels, Teje. Each one is special in its own way. We really should all label our quilts for the future, but sometimes it gets overlooked. Something to bear in mind for all quilt makers from now on – thanks for spreading the word!
Have a lovely week in your beautiful sunny place.
Helen x
I really love your quilts – and thanks for the link to another fun blog!
Hi dear Teje, I will spend some time to send you a little surprise, becaus my father by two days is getting worste…chemioterapy is very strong,so, in my heart I’m very sad and not able to create something nice for you like I would..
Please, excuse me.
Dear Lilybets, I’m so sorry to hear about your father! Don’t worry about anything else than your father. You are in my thoughts and I do hope he is going to be well soon! Xxx Teje
Lovely quilts! I really like the little squares one. You’ve given me some good ideas for labels. I’m looking for ideas for my latest quilt. But I want it done quickly! Maybe next project will have a hand-sewn label like your beauties. Superb work!
This pillow would suit my house; the colouring and the theme. The house blocks are fabulous…. LOVE it!!!
