MODERN MINI APRON

Hello everyone and welcome!

Saturday evening I climed up to my attic where I shall have my sewing corner during the summer time … having in my mind a small but important project. After some persuasion, Hanna agreed to present my new Modern Mini Apron.

Hellooooou our friends … I don’t know if this is fun …

… perhaps I could enjoy this a little bit …

… voooow – I am moooodelllliiiiing!!!

Heh … heh …. heeeeee! I think this is fun and with a small engouragement I just might do this again!

Here you see why I need a mini apron. One summer I realized that I need pockets! It’s not comfortable to have telephone, keys etc. in the pocket of jeans and often in summer time I don’t have pockets in my cloths. Still I should have few things with me when I’m in the garden. So last summer I made this …

This mini apron with denim fabric is my favorite. This fabric is a little bit thinner than normal denim. I like very much aprons but don’t wear them much – somehow I feel them uncomfortable – but this is very practical and comfortable because it’s so short.

Those white small tassels are the selvage of the fabric and that lighter colour is the back side of the fabric. Wearing my new ‘Modern Mini Apron’ …

Especially at my work I think often that one day I shall be on the other side of the door and my keys on the other … but now I know that they are all the time with me. That white loop is for the keys. I just need to borrow one ‘lock’ from Nero’s lead.

Modelling can be exhausting if you are not a professional, yet …

… and then we were all enjoying siesta time!

I haven’t been able to join Megans {sew}Modern Monday for a while and I’m really happy to link there! Pay a visit – there is always so much to see and you can be sure to find lots of inspiration!

I like very much Megan’s beautiful and stylish blog and she makes really adorable quilts! Even her ‘button’ gives you an idea for a new quilt!

And Tuesday we shall meet at Heather’s and Megan’s ‘Fabric Tuesday’. That’s my other favorite! Always they have been sewing something exiting and beautiful – would you like to see a quilt with an elephant … a giraffe over the elephant … and a rabbit playing with balls! So many lovely quilts and great links to visit!

Awww . . . Hannah has a new career waiting for her in the modeling world. The idea of mini aprons is great. I don’t know why summer skirts never have pockets, esp. to hold dog treats!

Hi Teje..lovely work..modelling is hard work and so is taking all those pictures. No wonder Hannah is exhausted! Wasn’t Nero interested in being a model too?

You made me smile today – seeing Hanna modelling the mini apron! The apron is such a great idea – so useful to carry things in the pockets, but making it smaller like that means it’s not obstructive at all. Love the denim one too. Have a happy week, Teje!

Hanna is a great model and I like the mini-aprons!

We have a heat advisory today (it is going to be 90 fahrenheit!) and last week we were wearing our coats. Hope you are having nicer weather!

What a great little apron, Teje!

It’s very handy to carry your keys and phone in the pockets when keep coming and going inside and out. And sometimes I think I would need one when olnly inside the house too, I keep “misplacing” my things… Beautiful and summery colors you chose too!

Hanna, what a fantastic job you have done modelling!! Like you have done it a million times! I also like the idea of adding pockets with the mini apron. Might have to borrow that idea as well. And your pups napping together… adorable!! Wishing you a beautiful week!

Hi Teje , I am back. We lost our internet due to the wiring at the weekend. An engineer has installed everything new and I am back on line. I have missed you, this apron is such a great idea. I agree you do need pockets in the summer! Your model is a real super model too.
