Hello Dear Sister!
Funny you mentioned the Ice Hockey Championship T-shirts! I just looked at mine this morning (on top of the ironing basket) and wished I had a new one. That old one has paint all over it now as we have both (!) used it while renovating the house. I remember I wore it in Japan when I went running, so it certainly isn’t the prettiest t-shirt anymore.
Congratulations Finland!! Dad told us they won…as we don’t see/watch ice-hockey here.
Lots of Hugs!!
I’m spring cleaning too and yes it really does create a lot of mess.
I hope the ear is much better soon.
x
That TV programme was Dixon of Dock Green Teje and I also remember it when I was a little girl! It’s good to get the spring cleaning out the way and then you can enjoy the summer outdoors. Well done Finland! We are still waiting for some rain, my garden is SO dry, it’s nearly 2 months with no real rain, so rare here in the UK.
Take care, Jane x
That picture of the roses with the water beading on them are just beautiful. I am glad Nero’s ear is better. That visit to the vet does not sound fun. Nelli is silly hiding out in that box! Congrats to Finland on the Ice Hockey World Championship!
What a cute post. I use the vacuum cleaner so infrequently that my animals are all afraid ot the thing. So, I am putting off spring cleaning so I don’t scare the animals. That’s nice of me, right? I took my Mercy dog to school yesterday. Keep watching for a post on my blog about her visit.
Your roses are beautiful.. how is it that you can make a post about spring cleaning sound so fun. And hope Nero’s ear feels better soon — glad there was a lot of napping to help!
Thank you Nero for making me laugh about the spring cleaning. I will take your advice and do sewing instead
). I hope your ear is better now and you don’t have to see Mr Stavos again. I have been reading your blog for a month or so now and it always makes me smile and feel happier, so I wanted to say thank you. And please say thank you to Teje when she has finished the spring cleaning!
I hope Nero does not have any more problems with his ear. Congratulations on winning the ice hockey! I bet all of Finland is celebrating.
So much lovely colour in you garden, thanks for sharing!
THe pictures of your roses are just fabulous!
I hope Nero’s ear heals and he has no further problems with it.
Yippee! We did it!
Happy images again, Teje, and I am so glad Nero is feeling better. Have a great and sunny week!
Yours,
Mia
What a great story; you have a talent for telling a story about something quite boring, like spring cleaning in a way it makes it look like the most exciting experience on earth. I hope Nero’s ear is better now.
groetjes, Dorien
Thank you Dorien! When I saw Nero sleeping in the sun I thought that I need to write few words about our busy week! It’s not fun to clean but it’s great to have everything cleaned and in order again! Nero’ ears are much better now and he is happy! Xxx Teje & Nero
Congratulations to Finland! And well done on getting on with the spring cleaning – I am doing some here this weekend too. I hope poor Nero’s ear is better now. Have a lovely weekend, Teje, and I hope you have time to enjoy those beautiful flowers – such lovely colours!
Helen x
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading about all you doggies! Loved the quilt work, too!
Happy Sunday woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
