Hello Teje I love your studio you have a nice large table and plenty of space to store your fabric,it is very neat you are so lucky to have such nice space ,I have very little space and just try to fit things in bins under my table,I now understand the blanket I also bought one once from a supermarket they are ment to put inside a duvet like a filler ,I used it for a wool quilt and I am still quilting it I must finish it ,you are right I just left the material ,your right unwovern like pellon I quess I am not sure what the correct word ,I am sorry about your tree, and I love your applique quilt down at an earlier post ,your finish forest quilt is so pretty ,it’s ok. make stiches further apart not to hurt your hand, the place you will be working looks so nice ,so you will have less time to quilt, it;s ok. you need to do something other than quilting all day right ,have a nice everning.xoxo theodora
Teje I forgot to say that your black eye beans look so good what is this that you are not a kitchen person,I love the cigar boxes my father use to smoke cigars and we had a huge stack of them in the basement I wish I had just one and you are so lucky to have the tin from your mom. xoxo theodora
Hello Teje and Nero, lovely pot of soup! It did make me hungry! I liked seeing your work space and all the little boxes for supplies and things. I use glass jars to hold my bits of thread and what not. hehehe! Have a wonderful week.
Hello!
Thanks for sharing your space with us–I love seeing where everyone creates!
Wow! I love reading your blog because I get to travel for free! I can see you are very resourceful! I love that too! Beautiful quilts, yummy food (lemons are my favorite), and amazing photos! My father-in-law is from what is now Turkey, but used to be Greece (I think this is how he describes it). Because of this, I have learned how to make some Greek food, and LOVE it!
I love your cigar boxes! What do I keep in my cigar boxes? Um…if I knew someone who smoked cigars…maybe I’d have some!
The black-eye bean recipe sounds yummy!
thanks for sharing.
Hi Teje, How are? Well I can see you are being very creative and your work studio looks very organized to. You have put me to shame, my room is a little jumbled in places so I must try harder. Containers like you use are ideal. As for fabrics I do not have many places to buy new unless you order off the internet. But I like to recycle from cotton shirts that my family don’t use anymore and so on. We do have a good charity shop here where I live and you can buy off cuts of curtain material for a good price.
Lets all stay creative, bye for now.
I use ikea stuff too. I really like their fleece blankets, just £3 and it works as the wadding AND the backing of a quilt sob saves lots of money, plus they are warm
we need that, even if you don’t LOL
Hello Benta, Thank you for your comment! I shall make the next one with fleece, thank you for the great advice! Have a lovely weekend! Teje
Lovely to see your crafting space, Teje! Those cigar-boxes seem to be just great fit for bits and bobs but around here they tend not to empty as my better-half
is an enthusiast… But ice-cream boxes are my specialty too, so great for little wool ball storing!
Happy weekend, Teje!
Yours,
Mia
Thank you for showing us around your work station..I haven’t forgotten that you want to see my stash of fabric and where I work..I will get to it! I don’t smoke cigars…so have no cigar boxes..but I do like yours. Is that a chocolate box with the picture of the dogs on top…I remember my neighbour always used to get a box of chocolates in a box like that at Easter…and I would have liked one too. Your dinner looks very hearty and your table beautiful…I hope you enjoyed your dinner! I have finally finished my paperwork…thank goodness.
Sunny week end to you !.I would like to share your blog site in my new site to publicize your apartments in Chania if you are agree.Let me finish understand how that site works….uhmmmmm many problems!!!.
Hello Lilybets! Thank you for your message! I would be very happy if you can tell about the apartments on your site! Till next week we can resolve some paper matters and I’m thinking to make a separate blog site only for the apartments. I let you know when it’s all done and ready. Are you changing your site or what problems you have? Thank you for your support and lovely weekend to you! Teje
Hi again! Sorry I didn’t pay attention that you make your site now. I’m not any specialist with the computer matters and I have been sitting days and weeks at my computer to create my blog. Still if there is anything you like to ask or I could help, please let me know. As you see I have wordpress – more likely you have started with blogspot which is more common. I was thinking what shall I choose for the apartments, and I think I stay with the wordpress because now I have learned to use it and I have been happy with everything how it works. Best wishes! Teje
