so you do get rain then??????? I absolutely adore your Grandfathers paint box. How fantastic that you still have this piece of him with you at all times. You are so talented Teje, does Nero help too????? Hugs xxx
Thank you Olive! I do love that wooden box from my grandfather! Nero is helping me very much and next time he is going to tell you about our new exiting project! Nero sends his kisses! xxx Teje
What gorgeous lemons Teje, are they from your trees? My little lemon has been tucked away in my garden but I think our very severe winter has killed it this year…we’ll have to see. I love your leaf you made…you have so many talents. Thanks for showing so many happy things.Have a great weekend,
Jane x
Thank you Jane! Unfortunately we have too open area and lemons don’t like north wind! I have put some lemon trees and one of them growed quite well and even had beautiful flowers! But now they look really bad and I don’t think there is any hope to get ever lemons from them. But now it’s ‘lemon time’ so we get lemons from our friends – thank you so much! I had just lemonpie – nam nam!
xxx Teje
Oh I wish I could knit!!!!!!
Benta
Thank you Benta! You can knit – just start! But be careful if you do, because then you may find a new passion where you need to have time, too!
Sometimes I think how much easier it would be to enjoy only sewing…or knitting…or painting…If I should choose, I think I would choose sewing! It can be like painting with fabric! Have a lovely time! Teje
That leaf plate is very cool!
Love the pouring rain photos too.
I am in awe of your grandfather’s paint box! I think I would get lost for hours playing with all those art supplies.
Happy day to you!
Thank you Terri! That is my problem, if I start to play now with the paints, they take me…who knows for how long time…and now I want to think my fabrick blocks day and night! But I’m sure when it’s spring and I can be more outside, I shall take my paints with me…
Have a sunny time! Teje
I love your paintbox and how it inspires you. Your projects are amazing.
Isn’t it amazing how the weather influences our choice of colours and crafts creatively? The day before you were showing us spring colours and picnics, today the rain comes and your colours and choice of textiles reflect the mood of the day. I am the same my cushion colours reflected the crepe myrtle I was enjoying yesterday. I wonder what we will feel like creating tomorrow!
Such a great post Teje! What a special thing to have, the paintbox, a lovely memory. The new jacket will be beautiful, I really like the colours. And I love the photo with the lemons, pure sunshine! Hope the rain is over and you’ll have a great weekend.
Thank you Teje – I really appreciate the award! And I understand how you feel about the weather – there are times when nothing will do but to stay indoors and knit!!
Beautiful colors and love the little painting of your jacket. I also like how your paintbox inspires you.
Enjoyed your wonderful post sharing your inspiration. Having visited Hania I imagine the place itself is an inspiration!
So glad it isn’t only sunshine in your part of the world!! This morning I was outside to take pictures, and my fingers were just so frozen, that I couldn’t press the button on my camera.
I love your painting. You really are so talented. I’m curious to see what kind of jacket you are going to make.
Have a nice weekend, Dorien
I can’t wait to see how your jacket comes out!!
(Lucky you…having a treasure like the heirloom paint box to inspire you!!)
What a beautiful post! I love your grandfather’s old paintbox. How lovely, to keep it alive! I love your paintings and your knitting. You are so creative. I look forward to seeing your finished jacket. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Ros and Oscar
So many beautiful photos. The paint box is a treasure.
Wow! What a lovely and inspiring post! You are the epitome of creativity! I lovelovelove your grandfather’s paint box….what a piece!
Thank you for sharing the entire post and lovely knitting projects with Fibers on Friday….what a pleasure!
Your photos are lovely and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your talent here. Your new project is looking great. Happy Fiber Arts Friday!
The iceberg painting is very well done. You should do more.
A lovely post, Teje. I enjoyed seeing the lemons, the soft and textural knitting and your lovely little paintings. I like working in watercolour too. How wonderful that you have your grandfather’s paintbox – what a treasure. Helen x
Thank you Teje for the award its so kind to include me, I know I am a little late replying sorry for that.
Super paintings by the way, many years ago I did take up watercolour it was a beginners course at my college, then my knitting and crafts took over and have not thought about it since.
