Nero’s bag and Peppermint bag

Hello and vof vof! We write together with Nero today and we are sooo happy to see you! We appreciate that you have time to visit us even it’s the last count down for the Christmas Eve!

All the children and of course their parents wait that school holidays begin and many of you have already started your holidays! But here someone loves the school so much that he is always anxious to have a lesson…

Wonderful sunny day again – perfect to have ‘a lesson’ outside!

“I have my school bag ready here!”

I made this ‘school bag’ to keep goodies for our play-moments. Also it’s very practical to keep keys and mobile when working in the garden or going for a walk. I have used the up part from my old jeans and I have add there also one tiny thing which is a ‘vintage’ treasure to me…

That label is my old old ‘Finnish Kennel Association’ mark and I was so happy when my sister found it last summer and sent it to me!

“I need to check if there is enough goodies for my lesson…”

“Here I am waiting on my ‘place’ and then Teje calls me and I run quickly to sit next to her – I get a goody – then I run back to my place and wait there till Teje comes next to me and I get a goody again! You see – it’s really fun!!!…and namm namm!”

“Hanna likes also so much our lessons! Sometimes she is too anxious to get the goody and she just can’t wait on her place! Or perhaps she didn’t like the camera…”

It’s really unbelievable how this amazing summer weather just continues and continues!!!

I was suprised to find this Sweety! My rosies doesn’t grow so well because their place is not the best for them. In spring and in autumn there is still a period when they make lovely flowers!

Finally I have finished The Peppermint Bag! I took some photos outside in the sunshine. The white-red fabric is so bright!

I made this bag with thick cotton fabrick. It has white cotton inside and pockets inside and outside. Closing is with zipper.

I have to admit that that this wasn’t the easiest work because of the details – but I like this bag very much and it’s really practical and perfect size! And mostly I love the Peppermint colour!

We haven’t got many Christmas cards yet…I’m  thinking if our postman has travelled to Lappland to get them…

This year I didn’t make any particular place for the cards and they were just like this. Do you see that interesting wooden thing! It is to keep needles and it came from far away, from Tasmania! Thank you Peter – it is unique!

Few days ago I found a great idea for cards. Mia had made a wonderful board for her cards! I was thinking that, but didn’t have fabric I liked…then I remembered something really beautiful that Emma had made!…and finally my board became like this…

I have very warm and special feeling when watching this! Most of our cards are coming from abroad…from other countries…and all you my blog friends are all over the world…so here I have all my Friends together!!! Unfortunately the board  wasn’t big enough to have exactly all the map and some of you are quite far away… It’s so amazing and fantastic that we can keep in touch with wonderful friends from so many countires and even we sometimes live really far away!

Yesterday this qute Teddy came to us with wishes for  Merry Christmas!
