“It was a gloomy and stormy night…”
Hello! I hope you have lovely Saturday – what ever weather it is! Finally we have winter and I understad better what you have been through these last days. When it’s months and months summer, you just forget how the cold weather feels – and you miss cool and cold winter with rain…
Yesterday we really had rain…it was raining ice cubes!!! It was so loud that we couldn’t hear other’s voice! The wind has been very strong and the ships stay in the ports. In Athens it is snowing. In Chania we have + 6 degrees.
Don’t worry, I know you have often enough rain…no need for me to show it…so here is the sun coming out from the clouds…
I can’t send you sun today…but I made one especially for you!
When I made this felting some days ago, I wasn’t sure how I like to continue it…in the sun the colours look so beautiful!
I wanted to do something over it, but also I liked it very much just like that! …I decided to make this an experiment and make another one if needed…
So…now there is some shine in the sun…
…waves on the sea…
…birds on the sky…
…SUNSET… one day I shall give you better photo with the real SUN!
When it’s rainy and cold, it’s better spend your time at home with your friends…
…with your Christmas things…
…to make some more Christmas decorations… Helen has made beautiful things for her tree!
Do you remember the small trees I had made from old books? I happend to see them also here with photos how to make them!

Oooh Teje, what fierce looking clouds!! I think it was 6 degrees where I am today, almost a tropical temperature compared to minus 12 last week!
I love your felted work, the sun reminds me of a juicy clementine, and the sea is reminding me of warm days by the sea…I love the detail with the beading too, it’s wonderful!

Thank you Julia! I see it also as an orange or clementine! Perhaps that’s the next picture! Even that +6 don’t sound so cold, it is! The wind is from north and so freezing like it’s straight from the north pole! But inside so nice with the candles and knitting! Xxx Teje
Your weather has surprised me, I never thought that Athens ever got snow! That rain was lovely for all your fruit trees no doubt. I love your felting and embroidery, so cleverly done. No wonder the Greek flag is blue and white, it looks like your picture without the sun! The sea and the sky and the clouds in between on the horizon.
You do such amazingly beautiful work! I always love seeing what new ideas you have. And you were very timely with the sun. All we’ve had is rain, rain, rain, rain, etc. here in the Pacific NW! It does make for lovely springs and summers though
I love the felting, it looks great with the little beads.

Love your felt sun Teje! The sun is out here in Copenhagen and most of the snow has melted. But I’m still hoping for a white christmas!

Hi Teje I love your felting the texture is so real I can feel it ,but I notice in the news that you had snow, we had yesterday , but in didn’t stick on the ground as soon as it touched the ground it melted ,I also liked the cookies you made. take care theodora

We have no snow now its all melted where I live that is, there are still places in the UK that have deep snow. Its just very cold now and ice. Your pictures are good I love to see them and a nice sunset.
The felting has worked out really well, I like it.

Kiitos kysymästä, Ronja sai eilen aamulla sellaista Oropharman Cani Digest suolistolääkettä. Se on ihan luontaistuote ja se auttoi. Viime yönä ei enää tarvinnut käytttää ulkona kakilla.
Meidän talo on se sininen. Se keltainen siellä pellon toisella puolella on maamiesseurantalo, eli sellainen suuri talo, jossa on iso sali ja näyttämö. Siellä pidetään kaikenlaisia kokouksia ja häitä ym.
Täällä pakkanen paukkuu edelleen ja mittari näyttää -20 astetta.
