Happy Thursday my Lovely Friends!
This Thursday there is many things going on … so let’s begin quickly…
‘My creative space’ has today crohcet decoration for winter and Christmas.
I ‘found’ these nice colours and they inspired me for Christmas – I like this kind of ‘Old fashion Christmas’ colours!
I am crohceting ‘Nero’s blanket’ with hexacons and I’m quite fond of them now. So it was nice to use them for something else, too!
‘My Creatice Space’ – every thursday there is a wonderful place to add your ‘Creative Space’ with a link to your blog in KOOTOYOO (please click in my bloglist)! Have a visit and found lovely creations!
This small table mat is my Favorit for the moment! And it looks wonderful with these unique ‘Iron Flowers’ with wooden base made by our dear friend Niko! They are candlesticks - quite amazing!
Today is also last day for ‘BLOGGER’S QUILT FESTIVAL’! Still some time to add your special quilt for the festival! Amy gives us special opportunity to enjoy fantastic patchworks and creations and to find lovely friends and new blogs! Please click on the button in my sidelist to go to her blog!
I just love my new white sheep-fur which keeps me warm in my crochet/knitting armchair! When we knit or crochet, we don’t move much so we get cold easily…not anymore!
This knitted vest is my ‘Knit Wear’ for Thursday. It’s just what I need today- warms a little bit but not too hot.
Have you visited ‘CROCHET PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD’ or ‘I CROCHET’? They are wonderful blogs to share your crochet creations! Please click on my sidelist and enjoy!!!
You know that I am from Finland and living now 19 years in Chania, located in Crete, beautiful and the biggest island of Greece. Just next to Crete is a small island ‘Gavdos’ and it is the southest place in the Europe! In ‘Gavdos’ you can find the most beautiful beach, which has been chosen among ’10 best beaches’ in the world (beautiful and clean)! So I live almost in the most southern part of Europe! And we do have a fantastic climate!
We are about 20 Finnish who lives here permanately. We have our own society and we rent an apartment where we can meet each others, have a library for Finnish books and there works also our Finnish School. The Finnish school works few hours every week and there children can learn Finnish language, history etc.
Today we have the first meeting and coffee evening after summer and also first time we meet in our new, bigger ‘home’! I’m the secretary, so now I have to prepare some papers for the evening….
