Hello Dear Friends!
Beautiful sunny day after autumn storms! I’m so happy and touched about all your wonderful comments! You give me delight and courage to try my best to make my small blog interesting and inspireing ! Thank you very much!
This year I started to have Christmas thoughts in my mind so early… in September… it was quite early.
But then all the October was running so fast that now I feel I’m awful late for my Christmas ideas and somehow out of my ‘program’ (I hadn’t any but feel like that).
In these decorations I have crochet two trees, crochet them together and add few red wooden pearles.
Christmas tree needs also star ! I think perfect star for the Christmas time is a mould for gingerbread biscuits!
…or perhaps Christmas Heart!
…more ideas coming with hearts and stars and of course crochet!…some time later…
I enjoy making these qute snowflakes! You can find how to crochet them from Lucy ‘attic 24′ (in my blogroll)! In a pouch I have put Rosmarin from my garden.
Yesterday I reorganized my sewing/ironing room. I had emptied the room for our friends and now it was perfect time to change the place for the furnitures!
…and today I had a sewing day… but not a glue what to make…
I thought it’s better to take all the scraps on the table and to see what’s coming out…
Today it became like this…it’s not finished yet….
That’s about sewing and crochet!
I would like to show some other photos which I took Friday afternoon. I was returning from Chania and fortunately had my camera with me. All the day had been cloudy with very dark blue and grey clouds – beautiful colours! And suddenly between the clouds the nature showed us the most beautiful sunset with strong orange light!!!
My camera is very good for me and my close shots but unfortunately this kind of photos are out of its limits. Please try to imagine the atmosphere more dark and the orange colour very strong!
Even these photos are not good, I like to show them to you to see my home town Chania.
You can see that we have long long beaches – in fact all the north coast is lovely beaches – and mostly clear sand!!!
We live about 8 km from the centre in a very small village.
This is the famous lighthouse in the Old Venetian Harbour of Chania. It is a beautiful symbol for a beautiful place! Chania is one of the most beloved destination for holidays!
So…what else…did I mention that we have now almost winter! Many years here is only summer and winter. One day we feel too hot in shorts, short sleevs and flip flops and the other day we need pullover and boots. I miss those other two seasons….
Foxy is well prepared for the cold nights in her comfortable armchair – with thick sheepfur and new lovely, warm blanket!
I hope you spent nice time with us – I enjoy always writing and choosing photos to you my sweet friends!
This is so wonderful LONG day because there is one hour more…that would be nice more often!!!

I love the crocheted snow flakes! Simple and elegant!
WOW! What a fabulous post! Those pretty little trees are lovely. Such a good idea! Love the beautiful sunset photos too and your sweet little Foxy, under her lovely new blanket. Hope your week ahead is just as great. Ros and Oscar

Hi Teje, thank you for stopping by The sky from my window and leaving me a comment! The photos of your island are just beautiful, they remind me of my honeymoon on Tilos in 2008. Hope to visit Greece another time, it was so nice.
Hello Nero,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope seeing the autumn pictures didn’t make you miss that season too much.
I have only ever lived in a place with 4 seasons so I can’t relate. Although, I must say that your town looks very lovely and beautiful! I would love to visit one day! I hope you have a great week.

Hi Teje,
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog. You are very kind. I love your christmas decorations. And please, you are not too late; I haven’t even started yet.
groetjes, Dorien
Hei!
Toivottavasti siellä on kauniimpi ilma!
